Help Jeep-OM617turbo swap intermitten power??

OK...Still having trouble with my 1963 Jeep FC170 with a OM617 with auto (from a 1982-3? 300SD) to a divorced transfer case (the build: http://bb.bc4x4.com/showthread.php?t=123204).

First of my camper is parked in the bush (forestry student as is home so when I am in the bush no access to internet and 2 hours to get parts!!)

So originally my boost line to the pump blew off (forgot turbo made boost) now fixed (may still have problem with vacuum hose so I will change it later). wow great power again (on dirt roads with 8% grades)

Engine starts right up...with or without glow plugs (blows a little blue but sits 2 weeks between moves 5 miles).

Engine makes good power and lots of pull...then just makes no power???

I drove the 300sd for months and have not change pump timing..In the car the once in a while it would stumble at idle and make no power then run great...but only once acted up like..."am I going to have to walk home".

The whole engine was swapped in (with crossmember, engine and transmission)...I updated the primer pump, new fuel filters. From the fuel tank I have two filters then a lift pump, (2-4lbs) and all new lines.

I took the truck for a 15 mile drive (ran hot need more air flow under the cab, but with the dog house open it cools)... and had all the faith in the world then all of a sudden no power!!! By then it was pitch black and I could not see a thing...Idle fine but did not want to rev, once the turbo spooled it made power...So it now sits abandoned in the bush for 10 days till I get back up to get it to run.

Not sure were to start...Please help me from swapping a chev 350 in...
