Well, it'd really help if I was at home, where all my tools are... being at my GF's place... I'm not sure where her dad's tools are... if he wasn't at work for on average 10+ hours a day I'd be able to ask where his tools are I should be able to post pictures tomorrow... I remembered I do have a Photobucket account... So I'll be able to get some pics up soonish...

There are a couple things I'm a 'bit' worried about... since I'm so new to cars and all, I don't want to let something go until it gets messed up... The whole area behind the left front tire is all 'oily/greasy'... It doesn't smell like motor oil or any of the other fluids I know... and that tire has a 'grind' when I'm doing sharp cornering to the right... I'll try to post pics of the different spots I'm a bit worried about... that is if y'all don't mind... since I'll be down here for another week... and then I'll have a 4 hour drive home... Yeah, I don't want to let anything mess up too much.......... I know I'll need to get a couple full sets of fuses... and there are several other things I'll be needing to get... as soon as the weather stops being so crappy... I'll change my oil... where is the oil filter located? Are any of you down 'nearish' Mena, AR? Anyways... I figure that's enough questions for now....

You may want to inspect the wheel bearing.

The pic shows the oil filter cap. You remove the two 13mm nuts on top, and lift off the cap which has a stem attached. The filter itself has a handle you lift it out with.
The filters come that large "O" ring. There are also two small ones that fit in a machined channel on the stem, you may be able to make 'em out. You can get those at any auto parts store.

Well, oops... I wasn't able to find the camera to get pics posted the other day... so we'll see about today... I changed the oil yesterday, and it's running better now.... I'm going into town to get the wheel bearings for the left front wheel... Any tips for changing them? I'll try to find the camera soon to get pics up...

on another note, I got my GED results in, so I'm happy

Catch y'all later...

there are a lot of things on the driver's side of the engine that could be leaking oil. the #1 thing I would check is the oil cooler lines! the oil cooler is the small vertical radiator on the driver's side of the normal radiator. it has a pair of lines that go to the top and bottom of it. if there is ANY oil on the lines, you should park your car and order a new set of lines from the dealer ASAP! if those lines look good, you could have a caliper leaking brake fluid, or you could have a fuel leak.
have fun with your car!

Your really killing us not posting pictures. Wait too much longer and I'll drive down there and post them myself.
