Yeah, I'm definitely jealous... that's crazy they let it go for only $500 after already sinking 10 times that much into the car.

What a great buy!

He COULD sell it. There are probably at least 3 people that would allow him to TRIPLE his money within a week. I don't know about anyone else, but that would be a LOT better than I've done in the stock market the past 4 weeks. ugh.

Actually, I started at $500 plus Chameleon which would mean he would be getting Chameleon FREE, but then I
reduced it to $200 plus Chameleon.

You know, Jimmy, if Chameleon shows up next year at the Texas GTG and Chameleon is in the same class as your wagon.......Chameleon is going to win.

If both our cheap wagons just make it to the GTG, then we both win!!!

In the past 2 years, it's had over $5000 worth if repairs, including a total rebuild of the rear end, along with new homokinetic joints, new rear springs, all the wheel bearings, new rear SLS shocks, etc ect.

Rust wise, it's "pretty good" but does have some of the typical W123 Merc. rust spots starting. A little by the jack holes, a little on the driver door bottom, and a few small spots on the pass. side rear fender. Not totally sure what to do with this as I already have 2 Mercedes... but I am leaning toward selling it as it should easily be worth a LOT more than I paid for it, and realistically I was already low on space before I bought this, but the deal was too good to pass up.
Damn, DeLorean, nice catch!!! I was feeling pretty good about my driveable $100 TD but from the looks of yours it'd take me a lot more than $400 to make mine look as good! The only thing I've got on you is solid jack holes and less than 1/2 the miles. Looks nice! Do you have the 3rd row seat, too?

No 3rd row seat, or rear head rests, or cargo cover

I took it for inspection today, and it *almost!* passed... Apparently the fact that the tail pipe is broken off at the muffler, and my rear fuel lines leaking is a problem. So, A rear muffler from drive wire, some new fuel lines, and I think the next go, it should pass inspection.

Nice find! Maroon wagons are not that common especially one for $500 in that condition!

Sucks for you. An "inspection" in Colorado consists of putting the car on a dyno and flooring it. If it doesn't fill the shop with smoke it passes.
