What really compliment the rims is a wicked big set of bull horns mounted on the hood. Don't ya think?

For some reason I like them which I find weird.

I'm thinking fuzzy dice and a pimp stick would better compliment those wheels.

Tyler, you are a stinkin' genius!!
First, you have cornered the market on almost all available Penta's/Ronals.
Then you run across a really great deal on a super clean W123.
Then you have the good sense to make plans to quickly remove those hideous wheels from said car.
Then you have folks that want to get into a bidding process for them!!!!
It is a pleasure to watch the master at work.....

I'm going to fiddle with it more on Monday and he wants me to make him an offer. I'm on my iPhone now, so I'll address other posts later.

Whats this about my father, by the way? He's never objected to how I spend my $$$, though he likes to make jokes

Guys...I'd love to have those wheels...I'm going to end up buying a set for the vehicle pictured down below....

Sadly, those are 5 lug and my car is 4 lug...but I really want a set of true wire wheels for the Model A.

Those wire wheels have to be ridiculously heavy, and I did say I would not allow the abomination to continue, but if someone is willing to pay good money for them I wouldn't trash them. I would stipulate that you can never post a picture of them, though.

I haven't even bought the car yet, and may not want to if the price is too high. I know he's thinking there is at least 1-1.5k in good parts he can sell immediately, then slowly trickle more as time goes by. I don't exactly want to test the friendship of my main parts supplier either, since I get most things for free.

Kinda pricey.. let us know if it goes the parts car way. I can use some stuff, and I know others can as well.

Well, that goes from being a really good deal to just fairly normal $$$$ for a fairly normal W123 [with hideous shoes]. Whatever happens you can't insult your parts supplier......

Man - where are these deals found? I wish my '95 was that clean. Very nicely done - I hope you can put it back on the street.

I will look at it again Monday, but something else got in the way of doing more this weekend.

1995 E320 Wagon Potential Purchase: Talk me out of this one too

Bob and I will hopefully get it running on Monday, then I'll go from there. Clearly my financial, spacial, and mental condition will prohibit me from paying very much.

I will be sure to let everyone know the future of this car.

You might have to be somebody's proxy and save the car for a forum member with a rusty example. Of course it would have to be somebody that would actually come through on his part of the deal.....
