349K, will turn over 350 K next week.

Oil pressure at hot idle has not changed in the 110K miles/6 years I have owned it. It still uses < 1 qt every 3000 miles.

325 on the odo, but it didn't work for 2 years and my gearing makes it read low now (Speedo/odo read low by a factor of .81)... so who knows how many actual miles on the chassis?

Last week I joined, buying a 240D with 363,900 on it. I've added about 15 miles so far, to the DMV and back twice. Not going to add anymore until I do a brake fluid flush and brake pads. Yikes.

I could be in the 300K club, but I am in denial about it. According to the records for my car, the odo has been stuck at 165,000 since about 1996

My car is too good for this club. I need something more along the lines of club for cars that seem to be running solely on reputation.

See my sig for mileage. That is what the broken speedometer/odometer that originally came with my car read. There is no telling how long ago it broke, or how many miles it has seen prior to my ownership while still running the broken odometer. When I disassembled it, a technician had written his name, the dealership, and the date and mileage that the speedometer had been replaced with a new MB unit, proving that even in 1982 the car had driven enough to earn a mileage badge. This car was pretty much driven non-stop for the first half of its life!

Until recently I had written the engine off completely due to low compression on one cylinder. Turns out a pre-chamber was leaking compression. It's still tired, but compression is just under mid 350's across the board.

The car looked like crap when I got it. Chrome was scoured completely off of front bumper and grille surround in several places from the driving it has seen.

You are almost ready to start the 500K club!

I know!

I'm not positive how this thing does what it does. I think, perhaps, it is just a very special car. Either that, or MB reputation is directly linked to some sort of cosmic power of which we have little to no understanding.

Someone loved it at one point. it's a euro delivery and they paid a premium to have it in Sprayed in Milan Brown. Obviously it was taken care of for some time before it fell off the map and ended up battered and rotting in some field in Oregon.

my 83 240/300d has well over 300K on it. I'd have to look at the records to be sure exactly how many miles.
