I am considering a W210 in the near future and researching first. I would prefer a wagon, they seem few and far between. Any idea on production numbers? Regardless of sedan or wagon however, it seems that I might like the Turbo IC version of the 98-99 much better than the 96-97 N/A. Does any one have link to various known issues? Is there perhaps a list of pre-purchase items to go through? I am finding cars from 6,000-18,000$ with Mileage all over the map (80k-500k). Mileage doesnt concern me on a vehicle that has been mitculously maintained and is priced accordingly.

Our W123 is treating us very well and I would like a newer diesel. The W210 has caught my eye.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
