lol, i didn't think about them.

What about the tidal flooding, nor'easters, and hurricanes? That might affect the finish on the aluminum trim. I need SKIPPY SUPER CHUNK!!!

I figured this one out by accident.

Packing tape. Yes clear thin packing tape. I was using it on one of my foam model airplanes and stuck the excess on the chrome strips, just to get it out of my hair.. I had flying to do.

I forgot about it and a few days later noticed that everywhere that had tape on it was shinny. I am guessing the tape reflects light. You cannot tell it's on there. Pull it off and you will have residue from the tape.

Give it a try.

you know if peanut butter works, crisco lard would probably work too.
