Peanut Butter on Dull Chrome Works!

So I stopped at the filling station today and noticed that some punk wiped peanut butter on my rear hatch in a small area near the rain gutter aluminum trim. As I was wiping it away with a napkin it smeared a bit over the aluminum and brought out a nice shine. Better than any polish I have tried! George Washington Carver never had this on his list of the amazing things the modest peanut could do!! I know that it works great on door handles, as seen here in this forum, but on aluminum too? Who knew!?
