It varies depending upon linkage/idle adjustment.
On the 190d I give it 1/4 inch = just a light touch.
On my 300SD everything is perfect, no throttle needed.
Wifes car needs 1/4 throttle or it won't start below 20° F, tweaking/repairing ASAP.
