I went to NAPA and they gave me Bosch branded ones. Still holding up pretty well.

I think what he meant was it's a faux pas to provide an outside parts link other than peachparts since this is their forum.

The Factory Service Manual recommends it

Consensus is that Carbon build up shortens the life of the Glow Plugs.
There are alternative methods of cleaning the holes out in the DIY Section.

Too bad the glow plug kit isn't available for '86/'87 OM603 or I'd consider it. Heard a lot of good things about Beru GPs I was going to order some if mine turned out to be bad.

Kit? What kit?

One of the major chains here it town carries the Bosch and Beru (among others) for the 603.96x and .97x engines, what kit?
