In one of Our Threads I believe I saw a Kit made by FLAG.

The Bosch rep told me that the feed pump kit is still used on many current non-MB applications and it should not be a problem to get them. He also mentioned the IP kit (DKG 128) is valid for all PES 5 MW 55/320 IP's.

I bought one of each as spares. If anyone needs or wants one let me know.

Stretch, can you easily source a good working or rebuilt lift pump like this one, for the M- injection pump on a euro spec 617 NA?
If so please PM a cost and shipping to USA if possible

Like this one?

Rarität Bosch FP/K22M101 Dieselpumpe Diesel Förderpumpe in in Stuttgart | eBay

I can do an advert locally for you to see if I get any takers. They don't come up for sale that often. I don't "do a Charlie" and visit yards as mostly they're a waste of time over here.

Is your Fuel Injection Pump missing the Fuel Supply/Lift Pump?

If your Fuel Supply/Lift Pump is not missing or damaged there is a rebuild kit for it.

I forgot to mention if you look in the non turbo FSM chapter 07-001 there's a list of lift pumps fitted to IPs and engines. Some of the OM616 M pumps look quite similar and probably made it to the US of A

The M Pump Fuel Supply/Lift Pumps have Disc Valves in side instead of the Solid Plastic sort of T shaped cylindirical Valves with separate Springs that are on the MW Fuel Supply/Lift Pumpumps and the Hand Primer is on a different spot on the Body of the Pump.
I thin the M Pumps Fuel Supply/Lfit Pumps also use only 2 studs or bolts to hold them to the Fuel Injection Pump; the MW uses 3 studs or bolts.

Indeed - pictures on the first page show two bolts (slightly bent)

Refreshing an older thread ...

Does anyone know where one can buy the kit for the NA ("M") styled pump (it has a fastner on the L&R sides and not 3 (in the shape of a triangle -- sort of). I've looked a bunch and no dice ... Thanks in advance.

There's a picture of the triangular lift pump here and mention of parts kits in the part number list

Êàòàëîã MERCEDES

The problem is the Russian EPC ain't so reliable for this kind of thing - too many changes too little information. I'd try the dealer.

If you post up the Bosch part number for the pump I might be able to find something out though

Hey Stretch, used to be Army ...

I don't have the triangular mounted pump.

I have just 2 bolts, one on the L&R. I have the "M" pump in a NA engine. Do you have a link for that one? Thanks in advance.

Hey greazzer (who hasn't had a name change yet!)

I think I see what you mean about triangular - is it looking down onto it triangular like this?

'Cos if that's the one you need then I can get the dealer here in Holland to dig out a part number for the repair kit. Send me the Bosch P/N.

I'm guessing it is one of those numbers in the link I posted before - but it is better to be safe and check - If the Russian EPC gives more than one option then the chance that it is wrong goes up quite a bit (and I know mathematically speaking the odds can be calculated - but sod's law hasn't been sufficiently formulated in my humble opinion!)

No. The lift pumps appear to come in two flavors:

One has three dogears on the back to mount the pump to the IP

Another has two dogears " "

The two dogears is the Euro NA type. That is the one I am looking for.

Sorry - I know it doesn't take much - but now I'm really confused
