leaking....?

I have a steady drip from the center of my 300TD wagon.

It's not oil, it's not fuel, not sure what else it might be?

The brake fluid is fine, coolant levels are normal.

Power steering fluid?

Or fluid for the self leveling rear suspension?

Any ideas?

Haha, okay, thanks everyone.

I think it's hydraulic fluid.

If its red in color - its tranny fluid or power steering fluid. The tranny is in the middle of the car - have the filter and fluid changed - they will need to put a new gasket on at that time - that should fix your issue.

its not too expensive - maybe $100

The change out interval listed by MB for our cars is shorter than most people are used to .... there is a very good chance it is DUE for a trans fluid and filter change anyway........
