There was a 250 HP Allis Charmers tractor that had duals on one side & singles on the other. when I asked what the story was, I was told the driver couldnt get it through the gate, too wide, so he cut the axles on one side with the oxy (4" shafts) so it would fit. $ 5k per axle plus fitting to fix. My youngest driver is 32. The biggest problem with turbos is when you float a tractor from 1 job to another. If you dont cover the exhaust pipe, you run the risk of spinning the turbo backward & killing it ~ lack of lubrication.
