Do you see any structural deficiencies? There are like oil cooler lines, that if broken, will pump all your oil out in the street right above this assembly. That's bad... Would make a mighty racket but would probably just start slinging belts or not staying tight before destroying the entire car.

It's hard for me to even stop and take pictures when I'm into something.

So Jim, how is it looking to a real engineer? I guess it'll depend on how I fasten it to that lug?

I'm going to have a pretty good load on two 10mm bolts but one is kind of a shearing load. It's like a big hinge... I may use an 8mm through the remaining lug with a bushing in the hole. It's a pretty big bore through that one.

2 What am I ? Chopped Liver ?
3. Be sure to use Automotive Grade Bolts...

lol, I never knew it Greg.

Good point about the fasteners. I'd go so far as to say go with grade 8 fasteners.
