G.M. compression tester..Fits?

I found a new old stock comp tester for GM diesels, it's super cheap ($30.00) but I need to know if the thread size is the same ( I presume one tests through the glow plug hole). If not, does anone know the thread/pitch of the MB hole?
Thanks as always for your input, Patrick.

Will the compression tester measure up to 370 lbs psi?

I own a diesel engine compression tester made by Tool Aid. The GM diesel adaptor goes in the glow plug with a 10mm x 1.00 size (4.3, 5.7, 6.2, 6.5 liter engines). The M-B adaptors are for two different types of glow plugs: 12mm x 1.25 and 18mm x 1.50; and the adaptor for the injection nozzle is 24mm x 2.0.

Perhaps you can find the correct size adaptor that will fit both the M-B and the compression tester you are looking at. $30 is really cheap for a diesel compression tester, the Tool Aid cost me $110 with five adpators and a nice case.

Good Luck!
Tom

I would guess that the threads are wrong, ones for Ford (6.9 IH) Diesels don't fit as well as Dodge (5.9 Cummins) which has a very similar Bosch injection system to MB at least on the older models. The adapters were longer and had much smaller threads than MB Bosch injectors. You would just have to compare an injector to the adapter to tell but I doubt it would even be close..
