It's a brand of oil.

My favorite, though, is the description for the Quartz Energy 9000 Oil

From that website link page:

"FLUIDITY" - it flows. Really?
"The upmost top" - or do you mean utmost top, or just how high can this go?
"garanties" - spell check 101
"lubrification" - we've all had a kick at this one already... how to stretch a word
"wildest carmakers homologation profile"
"carmakers homologations broader spectrum"
"the larger homologations spectrum" - do you mean "range of manufacturer approvals"?
"guaranting" - not there yet...
"low volatile" - thank goodness, we wouldn't want it to explode
"and forgot about winter" - OK, I already did, now what?
"Especially elaborated additives" - I think this is the crux of 9000's investment in a some stock oil
"catalyc converters" - gotta get mine converted to this!

"Discover our whole range of lubricants" - as in... .personal ones too? I think not.

TIP OF THE DAY:
"Not only do lubricants protect engines from wear, transmit power and facilitate gear shifting, they also contribute to fuel economy." - failed to mention they also permit an an engine to rotate.

And if you check the 'legal' page, get this:

"This information is believed to be correct" - they're not sure though.

I think what has happened here is a poor translation of a legitimate French oil company's product. If you chase down TOTAL there seems to be a wide range of oil products, some even for diesels. Not the 9000 tho. Seems to be a gasser oil for low temp regions.

Say what you want, despite the marketing hype it's actually a very good oil.

Hey, why buy their BS when you can buy Shell, Mobil 1and Amsoil. But putting that 617 turbo in there in place of the rather light weight 280 has to do a real number on the front suspension. My guess is that the weight increase is in the range of 250 pounds and it all sits right on the front.

Building a diesel SL was discussed here a couple of years ago and your concern is exactly what the discussion concluded.

This whole thing reminds me of a friend, years ago, who ran into some guy peddling a two-stroke motorcycle. It was very fast, my friend was told, because the engine "had a cam put in it."

Creative writing at its best.
I couldn't find any reference to suspension upgrades that would be required to handle the 617's increase in weight.
Maybe he just rubbed some unicorn horn dust on the existing front suspension springs and other frontend components.

Awesome. I'm surprised the seller didn't mention anything about dilithium crystals.

I noticed, though, the seller's feedback is 83 percent positive. I've never seen a lower number on an active eBay seller!

Hmmm...I thought OM617s were hard to make die and they go a million miles stock. So how far are they trying to get this one to go? Then again this is a good way to sell the "coating" added to an engine that will go forever anyway.
