The ALDA is controlled by the switch over valve?

ALDA Switch over do I understand this correctly.

OK here goes.

The ALDA is controlled by the switch over valve?

The switch over valve is wired hot by the ignition and grounded by the over boost valve?
When valve is grounded by the over boost valve to complete the ground it completes the circuit and applies pressure
to the ALDA.

IS this correct.

Or can someone explain it for MB diesels for morons

Oh this is on a n OM617.950 out of a 1980 300SD engine in my 1985 Toyota 4Runner..
