I'd like to ask another question. My car seems to start and run pretty good however there is no power and the tranny does not shift right plus the turbo seems to be not operating. Are these all symptoms of a bad vacuum pump?

I also heard that when these go bad that it can destroy the engine. I do hear a sound like ball bearings rattling around. Where could these go and what should I do to protect the engine? Thanks
