You should start a new thread for these questions.
1) No power = could be no vacuum signal to turbo. Lots of possibilities from no source vacuum, no signal from EDS, signal not getting to actuator...
2) Tranny doesn't shift right = describe further. Harsh shifts under light throttle is typically a vacuum problem, mistimed upshifts and downshifts could be a (Bowden) control pressure cable misadjustment, flaring could be a vacuum problem or worn clutches...
3) Symptoms of bad vacuum pump = unlikely if the brakes perform as expected.
4) Rattling sound = could be a number of things but given the possibility of the vacuum pump causing a catastrophic engine failure, replace it if it's an old style or inspect it if it's a new style.
