w126 - Air Box Replacement w Flat element box?

I was thinking...I dont like the big ol round one...it's ah...well I dont like it.

While I've got the car apart, the factory cold air scoop is staring at me, taunting me to figure something out before I have to put the ol rattle can back on her...

I really like what MBDieselFreak did here, have PM'd him about this also.
W126 300SD Custom Cold air intake

Anyway what I'm thinking, long term, is water to air or refrigerant to air intercooler, right behind something like this. I'd like to get away from the big round box for a number of reasons, stepping up to better filtration being one of them.

Anyone have any ideas on what makes and models of cars I can scrounge airboxes from?
