Air Cleaner

Here are some pictures. I have a vast majority of the component.

1. I have the air cleaner box and lid
2. I have the bottom mounting bracket. (Bought that from DeliveryValve)
3. I have one bracket (looks like a bar and I think it mounts on the radiator support

I am missing at least one bracket which would be very similar I think to #3 above

I am hoping to get some pictures to see exactly how this is mounted and set up. I also need the mounting items to where it bolts to the inner fender.
All the rubber grommets, et cet., are Dealer Items and all those odds and ends appear to run around $60-ish. The goal is to finish the box very soon and mount it.

Thanks !

Thanks DV !!!

So, it looks like I am missing the rear bracket (x1). Additionally, from the air box to the inner fender, I am missing whatever goes from the airbox to the inner fender.

I plan on using the flexible universal tubing 3" so I do not need the OEM rubber hose.

Please send more pics ...

Thanks again !

I dont' have a coolant expansion tank. So, I can either not use the rear bracket or I need to creat a mounting point for the rear bracket.

Without the tank, I think it would be complicated to use the original rear bracket. I would get something like a 12 gauge, 7/8 wide sheet stock and bend a "C" with straight angles to fit your wheel well. I think it would look cleaner in the end.

Probably ... well, that narrows down the missing pieces.

Looks like all that remains are the pieces and pictures of how is connects - vents to the inner fender.

Back to the interior

Since I am searching for the last few parts for the Cali aircleaner and some snappies of how it mounts to the inner fender, I figured I might as well work my son as much as I can ...lol

The back seat is temporarily installed. I love the red leather and the smell.

Once the remaining sound deadening material arrives, it will be a weekend of fun sound proofing the rear shelf, behind the back seat, and the little corner areas. No sound proofing of the floor since there's enough corrosion to cause a little more investigation.

However, I am liking the red.

Here's the missing part (I think) for the air cleaner set up.

It's part number 123-094-0011. Not sure if this part mounts on the inside of the inner fender or outside (accessible by removing the plastic fender splash guard).

Here's a pic of it. Part #155

Does anyone have this part ??

You will need to cut a round hole through the inner finder. The part will sit inside the wheel well area.

My thoughts in this is if you can't find this piece, you can get away with just sticking the accordion tube through the inner fender hole.

My inner fender already has a hole from the factory. I think it's around 2". I found the piece at the dealer. A whopping $12.00. Not 100% certain it's the right piece, but it has to be. I still question how the air will be drawn thru the inner fender - plastic splash guard. It seems pretty air tight or at least no noticeable gaps.
