this ad, has been edited to remove the 250mph statement, so... without the picture that Shortsguy1 posted, would make no sense.

PLEASE everyone posting in this thread, INCLUDE THE IMAGES AND TEXT from the ad at Least as good as Shortsguy1 did!

You never know what pops up when you do a google search for all of craigslist.

I've copied the text for later posting, ,I think the PP word filter would blow up if I don't blot out most of the ad. When blotted, it will look like a report from area 51.. . .

And, the paper in the back window is a temp registration tag meaning the car is less than 60 days ( more like sub 20 ) away from when he bought it.

93' Mercedes-Benz 300E 2.8L

I wonder what the text he copied is... and where he copied it to... no idea what area 51 wording would be...

John you are not serious, right? :P

What I like to know is what the person ran into. It looks fairly high up, as the bumper seems untouched and the fender is pushed down. It isn't something narrow like a high set semi trailer bumper. Just got me wondering...

I'm doubting it was the lowly pile of cinder blocks the car is sitting behind. LOL.

Some people think that anything with a 3-pointed star is worth big cash - no matter what. I suppose everyone thinks their stuff is worth more than the next guy's when it comes to selling. A lot of times, people price things for sale based on the value it has to them and not the buyer.

vstech 08-22-2014 11:05 AM

... I'd like to get that for some of my running rust free turbo cars...

Nice car though:
1982 Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo - 92k Original Miles

I actually think this should go in the alert thread, not the turd thread... It's not outrageously priced, and it's supposedly low miles...

The car was available for over 3 weeks on there. It probably sold. Still harping on the link?
