W123 Door Striker Inserts (Locking Eye)

Problems with slamming your doors to close them?

For the inserts goto ebay and do a search for W123 Locking Eye. Guy in Thailand selling a pack of 4 for $16.50 plus $6.00 for shipping. Mark your strikers prior to removing them. My allen bolts came out fine with an allen on a socket driver. Remove the big black rubber pin insert. Scrape (Dust) out the remainder of the old nylon insert and clean out the small hole. Set the new insert in and slide the rubber pin insert back together. Remount the striker per your marked lines.

Daughter and I did all 4 doors in 30 minutes. All doors close like new.

Material seems to be of decent quality, not too hard and not too soft; urethane like, not hard plastic.

Purchased on the 13th of November; received on the 27th. Luckily I was home when the mail came, as it required a signature.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
