I just opened a dispute with PayPal today before the limit of 45 days prevents me from doing so. I suggest others do the same as a safeguard. Keep in mind that opening a dispute does not cancel your order.

Here is what I wrote, I hope to hear something soon............

Hello,

This is regarding the purchase of a Mercedes Billet Key Head.

I am opening this dispute because I have not received an item I ordered on Jan 6th and because I have not received a response to emails. The limit of time for opening a PayPal dispute is 45 days so I am opening this before I am unable to.

At this time I do NOT wish to cancel my order as I am excited to receive the product I ordered and am hopeful that I will have it soon. I understand that a lot of work must go into creating the key heads and that some steps in the process are not in your control. However, there is no excuse for not communicating issues or delays with customers.

Please send me an estimated ship date or status update in the next 10 days or I will have to request a refund through PayPal.

Thank you,

Adam

P.S.

You may also want to read the forum at Peach Parts where several customers are also reporting that they have not received their items or a response to their emails. Here is a link to that thread: Caution:Billet Key Heads

Hello everybody, once again I have had delays. Two heads were sent to white and a few others that were the earliest buyers. I am still waiting for the rest to get anodized and have them shipped out. And once again I understand if you are worried and want a refund please let me know.

At this point, I don`t care if they are Anodized or not, my key head broke off back in Dec, I don`t want to loose the damn little thing. Or I`ll just go to the dealer and get another crappy plastic one.

My mail just arrived and I was totally shocked to see the key heads. They are a nice product but Konradwax and his company Speedriven need to review their customer relations practices.

Please do not involve the company I work for. I am doing these keys on the side. I have had nothing but set backs with the second batch and am slowly recovering. I will have all the ones people payed for shipped out and delivered. From now on will only take orders if i have keys in hand. Unfortunately im dealing with multiple companies when making these. They get machined, then i receive them clean them up debur them and inspect/verify fitment. Send them to anodizing in which they are a pain to do because they are light and take a lot time to anodize correctly. After that i put them together and ship them out. All this for 3-4dollars a pop profit. So guys please be patient i will deliver the product, unfortunately they are delayed as of now but expect the rest this week. If you wish to get a refund let me know, i will refund you the money. If you wish to buy later when i have them in hand ill let people know. So BWhitemore/and the rest i apologize for the dragged out process. I do guarantee that once paid you will receive the product with 100% satisfaction!

here in Gastonia, NC, there are hundreds of hungry machine shops, I'd be happy to throw your cnc specs to a few and get you a price.
I also work for Buckeye fire and equipment, and they have an anodizing plant, I'd drop them the quote if you like...

That might not be a bad idea. Here in chicago most shops dont have time for little stuff like this, and its always on the back burner

Kondrad, check your PM's.

Glad to hear you're getting this sorted out. Outsourcing the machining might not be a bad idea. Many companies outsource to India and China. North Carolina should be an easy day in comparison. They even speak a version of English there.
