I did get tons of black smoke, somehow another oil leak was created and the engine didn't turn off with the key so there is definitely a vacuum leak. The leaky vacuum system was excepting. The nipples to the brake booster line and the little black box on the vavle cover broke during the process. Overall I am hype about the job I did on the engine!!! I am taking it to a local Mercedes shop to have them fine tune in a couple of weeks. Heres a pic.

I don't think it turned out bad considering this is my first Mercedes preservation.
its not done yet, your windshield washers are not hooked up

^ Honestly, the washer fluid bottle had a huge hole in it so instead of replacing or repairing it I figured why not delete it. Probably not the purist Mercedes mod but one that I like. I've done that on my GTI and Super Beetle. To be honest, the bottle delete cleans up the bay a bit.

Nice... Worked there until '05, so not familiar with much past Mk4s.

My buddy did the washer delete on his dumped B5 A4.....He regrets it every time I flip on my windshield washer

Question: I am using a passenger side seat to replace a drivers seat. Do I have to exchange out the seat tracks? Or can they be installed with no modification?

Yes the tracks need to be changed if you are using the spring box from the pass side on the driver side. If just the upholstery is being changed, no need to do anything with the structure, just replace the cover.

Ok cool. I guess I have to battle with those seat tracks now. Have you done this before? It seems easy but everything that seems easy on this car is not.

Yes I have, and it is not as easy as it would seem to be. I usually just repair the springs and replace the cover, it is a lot easier that way.

Emma... A Project For the Perfect Honeymoon.

Sadly I haven't had much time nor money to invest in her because of the Bachelor Bash in Montreal. I gotta get back to it soon. I brought one of the seat repair manuals from Mercedes so we will give that seat track swap a go again.

That is life... Just have to what we can.

That rear looks a little saggy, especially with the contrasting rope holding the rear bumper.

Hahahahaaa yeh my SLS is a little leaky. When I crank it up it will raise but after sitting for a bit the rear sags. The bungee cord are helping me hold up the bumper until I get new bolts.
