I have a little youtube channel where I sometimes post updates about it, and even have done a few quicks, including one on how to drip time your IP. I'm extremly slow at working on this, as you can tell from the start date of this thread, but rest assured, it's getting there step by step

Ill check out your channel, always looking for good 617 w123 channels that are in english, haha.

So is it fast enough with that set up to whip good donuts, burn outs, weekend warrior casual drag race, and etc? Or is it just similar to a stock modern cars speed? Can you think of some car that you could compare it to?

Im planing to do pretty much that same setup in the next few months.

hmmm...

It's hard to describe, I would guess it's as fast as my 2010 E300, Mine will be tuned for a modern car performance. I would like to get around 200HP out of it. I'm not going for all the smoke etc.

Here is an example of same setup in a sedan.

I have been really slacking. I don't think anyone actually looks at this thread anymore but here is a before, during and after of my engine so far. Every part on this final picture is the original part from the before picture. I taught myself polishing and plating in order to get to this point.

On the other side, I went ahead and cerekoted the turbo and polished the housing. All the aluminum that has been polished is clear coated with cerekote as well, the parts feel like glass, and I should never have to deal with oxidation again.
