do you think it would be possible to simply
re wire the old loop type as per the upgrade pencil type
BUT with a resistor in line to bring the voltage down to just under the maximum
that these loop type will take before meltdown?? rather than the wiggly bar resistance idea that wastes energy and under powers them.
wouldnt that be a cheap easier option if its feasable?
i have a hard starting 240d sedan and i am very curious.

unless somebody knows another pencil type plug that fits???
im sure its out there.
