I had this weird dream...

...that I was swapping a 617 into my Buick Century. Even in the dream, I eventually realized that this might be a bad idea.

What a frikkin' coincidence! I just watched Coming to America again on NetFlix last night for the first time in 20 years, and today somebody posts a videoclip from it.

You do realize that GM put a V6 diesel in your type of car? There was also a gas turbo as well.

TUURRBO, of course . After I realized that dumping it in the Century might not be the best idea, I also considered a Park Ave and a Roadmaster. In the end, I concluded that the best place for a 617 to be is in a Mercedes .

That would have been fun connecting the trans axle up in a FWD Century to the 617. The Park Ave or Roadmaster would have been a better choice except for the weight.

Strangely, I never thought of that in my dream (though it occurred to me as soon as I woke up). The Park Ave is also FWD, or at least the generation I was thinking of is. I think I did dismiss the Roadmaster based on weight.

First I was going to say that I was relieved that there was someone who had an even dumber idea in a dream than I did, but then I realized that you dreamt of ME doing something incredibly stupid!

Hey I once dreamt that I'd fix that thing and restore it back to new condition

When I have these strange dreams I always wake up and have to use the toilet.
