Thumbs up OM 603 with newly installed Greazzer injectors = no more shake at idle

Another very happy customer. Between the new injectors and engine mounts I put in last year, I couldn't tell the engine is running if I could not hear it. It used to rock and roll back and forth while idling hot.

New hydraulic lifters are next on the list, and should make it harder to hear. I will soon have replicated the experience of driving a new 1987 300D off a dealers lot, minus the experience of coughing up an inflation adjusted $95,000.

I'm a happy camper

Nozzle Type?

I'd like grezzer to take care of my aging injectors.

Any particular nozzle brand / type you used? i.e. 265

Thanks

Did you install the encapsulation panels under the engine/transmission? Nice and quiet.

I used Bosio SD265 nozzles, a little pricy at $30 each (180 total, eek) but I have heard that they are the best there is, and I can attest that I like them. I got them from the 1st hit on google for "om603 bosio nozzles".

No smoke at full throttle until about 4500rpm under full throttle now...I don't even see the haze in the headlights behind me. So smooth, and I imagine that the new lifters will remove more smoke.

Again, much appreciated. Great communication, etc. I'm going to refer some other Diesel Merc buddies who are not on forums over to you. I'm 110+% satisfied.

The time for the Midlands Biofuels open house is coming up soon.

If you'll be there, I'd like to bring my injectors to you for a tune up.

Or, just ship them to you, I'm in no hurry.

I have 2 SDs that need injectors. Just as soon as I finish the front end and track down tools to pull the injectors from the parts car.
