1982 240d 308k miles front Crankshaft seal and spacer replacement

The previous owner has had this seal replaced.

I've read the following link of the detailed procedure to replace the front crankshaft seal.

Excellent write up with great pictures.

I'm assuming a 240d would be very similar.

They mention that you must replace the pins in the balancer and they also mention to replace the big crankshaft bolt and the 6 smaller Crank pulley screws. Is this recommended in the FSM? I was unable to locate anything about replacing all these parts.

Also, is which manufacturer of the crankshaft seal that I want to buy or avoid? I will order a spacer but will only replace if I see a grove in the spacer.
