W123 300d Oil Leak......

I have a 78 300D.

I've had it a few months, and have put about 5k+ miles on it so far. When I first purchased it, no oil would touch the ground and the pan and trans were clean of oil...

Bottom of my pan, and trans are coated in oil now and I cannot find where it's leaking from.... Really hoping it's not the rear main seal, as that would be a major nightmare to tackle at my house. Would the rear main cause that much of an oil leak?


Any ideas?
