New (to me) 1991 300D

Saturday I'll be picking up a '91 300d. 115k miles (documented). 2 owners. First owner was a father-in-law who sold it to his son-in-law. He has all service records since Stuttgart. I'd really wanted to get into a w123 or w116 but everything I looked at was more of a "rolling restoration" than a "daily driver."

The only things wrong I can find are a ding on the trunk lid and the ac needs a recharge. It still has the original r12 setup. It cools ok if the ambient temp is below 80*F or so. With cooler weather setting in, I think I can hold off on a repair until spring. I'd like to stick with r12 unless it gets to expensive to maintain.
