Has anyone tried a W123 EV conversion? How about launching a WVO 240D behind Elon Musk’s roadster?

a buddy of mine is working on an ev project, I think he is considering vehicles for the project. but the car isn't likely to be the choice. he is leaning towards a van.
battery space is better...

the 240 would be a LOT slower getting into orbit, but it would be dead on straight, and smooth for billions more miles... and they'd have to use DIESEL instead of KEROSENE for the launch fuel...

Ya I totally agree. I'm not in favor of censoring and deleting this thread in any way.

Just moving it to the alt Fuels section

To an extent that's true, then you have to realize any engine will ultimately fail even running just on D2.. sure, it might happen sooner with WVO-based fuels but even if you get 100k miles on essentially free fuel that means you've saved ~$7500+... which in my case could buy me a 606t to put in my 190d,toss the 601 and have alot of money left over.. There are two sides to every coin, there are many people that have 300k+ miles on some of these engines on WVO blends/2-tank systems and they still run fine.. then there's the Elsbett cars in Germany..

Well put it this way.

Just think of that section of the forum as an archive. We may need it again the future someday...

I think it would be horrible to delete it.
