MW IP timing pass (240 owners?)
Found a spare set of injector hardlines for cheap and fashioned myself a drip tube. On my list, setting the pump timing has always been the final frontier (arbitrary).
I’ve read the various descriptions and have a few questions especially for any readers with a 616.
1.) is advancing the timing, changing the timing dial referred to in degrees 24, 25, 26? Or is it achieved by tilting the IP toward/away from the engine? Or is this one in the same?
2.) if not, how does one change the dial -on my 616, set to 24? Is this done before, after, during or completely independent of setting the drip timing?
3.) 240d crew -have any of you set drip/advanced timing to 26 degrees? How did you find that adjustment?
