Wow; you guys are making me appreciate my 126. I have pulled the instrument cluster out a few times and have fixed the speedo and it was easy. That's why I hate to buy a modern car. Would never attempt to do anything like that on my Lexus.

And that is the key with any friction fit dash. Use steady pressure and let it slide out on it's own.

Pulling an instrument cluster on a modern car is usually pretty easy. The only slightly difficult part is knowing what dash trim needs unsnapped / unscrewed.
