I'm trying to buy some new oil lines. I've checked all the part sites and think I've found what I need but I'm puzzled with an oil line from an '83 240D automatic transmission with a part number that's not listed on any of the parts catalog lists. 617 187 15 82.
There were several revisions specific to MY 77-83 but the bend, radius, length, and fittings appear identical to mine.
I can see all the various version part numbers available for purchase online. I know Mercedes revised the part number for a reason but unlike most revisions, can't understand why or how.
Does anyone know the reason for the revisions?
