The latter is marketed as refrigerant hose the former injection hose. Both are barrier lined. Their literature says greenshield uses a thermoplastic liner wheras Polarseal uses a nylon liner. Nylon is a thermoplastic. Polarguard is rated upwards of 257°F and Greenshield 212°. Another example: Oetiker PEX clamp is a series 167 clamp. All their clamps are sold as metric. The 3/4” on is stamped 23.3mm. The big difference other than the PEX stamp is that they are one step wider and thicker than comparable diameter 167 clamp. I have loads of clamps and if i can find a suitable chunk of hose I’ll make my own. The hydraulics shop will cost more than a chunk of hose. By the way GATES stipulates two methods for their refrigerant line. One is the sleeve clamp like the OEM ones and the other is an Oetiker 167 clamp.
Buy from China and you can get 15mm teflon hose sheathed in stainless steel braid at half the cost of fuel transfer hose.
