Re-Keying a 123 Door Lock

Awhile back my son and I rekeyed all the exterior locks on his 83 123 Model 240D to an existing key. The car had a couple of different keys required to get in the doors and trunk. I documented the procedure and would like to share it here.

To add one note, any leftover leaves that are too long, can easily be filed while positioned in the tumbler. Also not a bad idea to harvest leaves on trips to the junkyard.
