So I've wondered this for a while.. What is the proper way to clean the engine?

Simple Green Actually I had my mechanic clean it (some crazy degreaser) and I just touch it up. I'll bring some simple green with me tomorrow.

Just about done with the body. Wax the hood and I'm good. Then just gotta touch up the interior a bit.
