Planning M.B.E.G So. Cal Coastal Cruise- April 7 or 21?

We are planning another Coastal Cruise, and would like a consensus as to the best date. April 7 or 21? We will probably start on PCH at Rubys in Seal Beach, and drive to the Petersen Automotive Museum after lunch. Lunch suggestions also considered.....Rich

Hi RollGuy,

I'd love to come, either date works great for me ..but should I bring the E 420 for its public debut, or the SEC now with its 300 hp new motor (and hopefully new euro bumpers?)

You guys ALWAYS do the best tours AND are a GREAT source of knowledge about learning new places to see!!

Best

Jim

Either date should work for me. (I really need to get out of the house) How about lunch near or at the Farmers Market on Fairfax.

Both dates look good to me. But, I'd be more relaxed and enjoy it more after the 15th tax filings. Don't let my situation influence the choice of the majority, I'm in either dates.

So far it looks like the 7th might be best, but I will wait a little longer to finalize the date. The only problem for lunch may be parking. I have never been to or near Farmers Market, so I will need to do some research.....Rich

Thumbs down Farmer's Market Parking

Even my Moto Cycle Group stopped going there because the parking is impossible .

To bad because I really enjoy breakfast @ Du Par's .

That's what I was afraid of. We may need to find a place near PCH that is not close to downtown or near Petersen.

Thumbs up No Worries !

If I can make it , I'll go wherever you choose , you never let me down yet .

Maybe I'll be allowed to drive SWMBO's Euro. Spec. 300TD ~ I've been tinkering on it and she's really protective of it going out , I have the grille off rebuilding it so she's not wanting anyone to see it sans grille .

I just talked to the reservations lady at Petersen, and she said they have a Johnny Rocket's restaurant inside the museum. That might be the best place for lunch, as we will all be parked together (for free!) in the museum parking structure.

Johnny Rockets is noisy , crowded and crappy food but at least it's there .
