This Beautiful Red 1982 Mercedes Benz 300CD Turbo Diesel Coupe is up for sale. Although it has sentimental value (my first 'Benz), I have too many cars now, and need to sell some. The car has approx. 202,500 miles on it with a working odometer. The engine usually starts first time, and the 4 speed automatic transmission shifts good. It has been adjusted to shift a little harder. The air conditioning blows cold with recent new compressor, drier, and 134A refrigerant. The paint is about 60% original, with the doors and fenders painted by previous owner (some clear coat peeling on passenger side). It has a Blaupunkt CD/AM-FM radio, but no antenna. The interior is very nice with only a few small cracks in the dash, a sagging headliner by the back window, and a few other minor imperfections. Has a recent new windshield and gasket. The passenger door lock vacuum element needs replacing (cause of vacuum leak). The TURBODIESEL emblem is off, and needs the little fasteners to hold it on.
