I have an 87 16 valve with stock brakes using Mintex pads...I definitely want more braking power!
I am considering the 400E upgrade but while using stock calipers and rotors, which will make the most difference - upgraded pads such as Porterfield Carbon Kevlar or Stainless Steel Brake lines with normal pads? Thanks, Peter |

If you upgrade the hardware to the bigger brakes and install the stainless lines, you will have a STOUT braking system.
