I have an 87 16 valve with stock brakes using Mintex pads...I definitely want more braking power!
I am considering the 400E upgrade but while using stock calipers and rotors, which will make the most difference - upgraded pads such as Porterfield Carbon Kevlar or Stainless Steel Brake lines with normal pads?
Thanks,
Peter

If you upgrade the hardware to the bigger brakes and install the stainless lines, you will have a STOUT braking system.
