Thanks for your comments. Yes you are right, the monotoned look is a wonderful upgrade and I recommend it on any W124 car. Sorry, I do not have the skills for doing a paint job like this myself, also I am very picky and would regret if I don't get the desired results. I asked a professional bodyshop in Mexico City to do the job for me. It was done 4 years ago and it still has the shinny mirror finish on it. The bodyshop used the Standox technology on my car, this paint and methods are very common in Europe for Mercedes Benz and BMWs but not here in the US. Only be aware about choosing the right bodyshop to do the job, they need to know how to apply flexing agents to the pait in order for to stay in your bumpers without cracking or peeling off. I recommend you to get the same look on your car, you will love it !
