For those of you who are still about to upgrade the headlamps on their E500/500Es, the correct part numbers for the headlamps are:

For use with hoods prior to 94:
Left: 124 820 4359
Right: 124 820 4459

For use with 94/95 hoods:
Left: 124 820 0357
Right: 124 820 0457

Many thanks to MBenz for getting the above part numbers from a dealer in the Netherlands. The 94/95 part numbers have been confirmed with at least 3 UK dealers to be for the E500/500E, and are for LHD vehicles.

The ones Bekkers advertise on their website are for regular W124s. I called them up the other day and they quote upwards of $400 each for the above part numbers. UK dealers quote $250 each (without shipping) but have none available as yet.

The Parts Shop *may* have them in a few months. I bet pricing would be better too. Email/call Phil for details. (How's that for pressure, Phil? hehe) Also, the Parts Shop has a line on the following part numbers:

Left: 124 820 07 57
Right: 124 820 08 57

that are "options on the 124.036 cars" although I have no further information on them and am still researching these.

Anyone with info on the part numbers directly above or with sources for cheap Euro light part numbers quoted at the top of this thread, please post.
