Here is your issue. Sway bars will not help you from rubbing or crashing the fenders with that tire/wheel combo. These cars are not designed for 18" wheels at all. 7.5 wide is widest/best on a non 500e w124.

I have 17x7.5 et30 with 225/45/17 and had to roll my rear fenders.
