No problem. Found some elsewhere. Thanks for checking.

finally....

So, guys. I sold a forum member the hatch windshield out of the wagon.

Two problems we had with this sale ---- size of item and his location. The size of box needed is about 54inches x 27inches x at least 6 inches. All the big box stores CRUSH their cardboard and they throw it in the CRUSHER fast, too. In addition, he is located in California. Does anyone know (right off the top of their head) the estimated charge for UPS Ground to ship it?

So, it looks like this box is going Greyhound. I am going to check the USPS, but according to their website, it's too big.

Anyway......so, how do you find a big box with everyone CRUSHING cardboard? Well, a funny, not so funny event happen in our family. This spring, I bought a new lawnmower from Lowes; electric start and sell propelled, etc. I taught my 14yr daughter how to PULL start it (she still doesn't know about the electric start) and how to mow the grass. Also, showed my wife.

So, about 6-7 weeks ago, my wife calls me and asks which petroleum container has gasoline in it --- I tell her the smallest one. I get home and she's saying the lawnmower is putting out big puffs of black smoke and won't stay started. I immediately think she put motor oil in the gasoline tank. She didn't. She put diesel in it. I drain it all out and it restarts on fresh gasoline.

Fast Forward to this past Saturday --- she did it again. This time, no restart. So.....new lawnmower.

how to build a big box ?

So, I measured the glass and allowed at least 2 inches extra on all sides. Then you undo the biggest box you have and then refold the box. A 2x4 helps make the new folds more even. Here's a few shots to show you what my garage looked like yesterday morning and the process:

Slide a smaller box inside the bigger box and glue as much as you can. I like to use lots of glue sticks for this.

Glass going in with the bottom of the glass with the electrical connections secured in individual "boxes"

Then I built a tray to put on the top of the glass; then I put styrofoam and bubble wrap and paper inside the box. Note the green areas; it is hoped the window will ride actually upside down; but probably will lay flat.
Here's the finished box.

I have the cargo cover hardware --- well, I think I do. The things on the ceiling and also the litle loops on the hatch, correct?

Anyone want these before they get lost?

First Aid Panel and Spare Tire Panel are still available

The 2 panels are still available; spare tire, jack, and lug wrench are reserved.

The Spare Tire cover is in good condition. Each of the little "spikes" that hold the bottom are in-tact; includes the leather strap on top. Asking $50 plus shipping.

The Spare Tire has about 50% tread and includes good air. I also have a jack and lug wrench. Asking $25 and not willing to ship, but probably can help you pull some other stuff for free.

Anyone? Make me an offer and include shipping.

The foam/plastic backing is intact and only coming unglued on a small area near the "top" of the mat.

$25 plus shipping.

How about rear seatbelt latches? Specifically I'm interested in the rubber connectors that hold the rear latches to the seats. Mine are broken.

Also, driver's front seatbelt? Master unlock switch in driver door?
