Power steering effort

Help!, Is there any way to alter the amount of power steering boost on my new G500? The new G's have much harder steering at low speeds. It bothers my wifes shoulder when she runs it around town. It is so bad that she wants to trade trucks and drive my G320. I do not want that to happen, so I need some help

I am willing to persue even fairly involved procedures on this one. The truck is worth less than I owe thanks to a flooded market. I am stuck with it. If I can correct this problem, at least I can continue to drive my oldie but goody

Thanks in Advance

Brent
