Look into a Mini-Med policy or a catostrophic health plan. These generally don't take care of Dr. visits but if you were in a serious accident would shield you from the brunt of health care expenses. Call your local BC BS office (dont call an agent) and inquire about such. We offer 3 plans with our company and encourage everyone to have some coverage. Our plan 3 is $8 week Blue Cross with Rx. Very popular with the young healthy workforce we have.

Can you explain this more?
Is it actually called "Mini Med"? Do you have an actual name for the policy?
Thanks,
