Ah yes winter - that time of year when we don't have to run the AC

Dee8go 09-28-2007 01:14 PM

. . . . and we can exchange our big electric bills for big gas bills.

Yeah, I like to wait for the first big storm before I do that. Although last year I never did get my window AC units out, 'twas a bit drafty at times :o

That's usually about the same time I get around to trying to start the snowblower the first time and start fighting with the snowplow harness. Come to think of it, that's usually when I get around to putting the framing up for my boat cover, too :wacky: That first storm is a real b!tch!

I really do wish I didn't put stuff off so much. Why do today what you can put off until next week?

I really need to join Procrastinators Anonymous. Some day :D

About the ONLY winter prep needed in Texas is shutting off the water sprinkler timers at the first sign of frost!

But not everyone adheres to this...

Yeah, that reminds me I need to dig out my windbreaker jacket before winter gets here.

I'm still young and foolish enough to love the snow. I'm living in the wrong state for that!

I have discovered that if you put off dealing with some problems for long enough they actually DO go away!:D
