(Hopefully) Sleeping, bringing Ma home from the hospital, sleeping (one can only hope), swimming at the home of high school best bud of Darling Wife's (with youngest kidlet o'mine in tow), (trying to get some) sleeping (time in), most likely some assorted get Ma more settled in to the downstairs in the cottage projects, (wishing I could be) sleeping, replacing a blade on the lawn tractor (for the record: finding the bent over re-bar that used to be one end of a horse shoe pit with yer lawn tractor blade is no fun), sleeping (after teaching kidlet to drive said lawn tractor), running the paint eater over another couple dozen square feet of clapboard, sleeping (if I get the chance), and priming the newly naked clapboard siding.
And sleeping. I hope. |

Spent the day cleaning up after the tower guys left town last Saturday...not too bad...they left the legs for their transit...so I suppose I might be in for a "road trip" next week to WWC Illinois (Quad Cities area), if they're in a rush for a stabil platform...
On the home front, X-MIL is still with us...no word as to her condition since last week...I'm hoping she's in as little pain possible...I can't even guess what's happening to her insides...all we know is she's very quiet and doesn't see/hear/speak well at all...she's withdrawn due to the fact that she's almost isolated with all her systems "shutting down" slowly...she doesn't know who's near her...she can't hear them when they're speaking and her sense of smell has disappeared due to the fact that even fragrant flowers aren't being recognized... I've always felt that cancer is the worst that people can suffer from...now I'm "witnessing" it...it is beyond sad... Later folks...I've got to get some sleep... |

My God, is it Friday again already?! I started early (for me) today. I was on the road by 6:30. I'm hoping the sales gods will smile on me and reward me effort today. I'm well on my way to selling off all of my photographic equipment and a lot of tools. Hopefully, by Monday I'll have a little more cash in my pocket and a lot more space in my house.
Have a great weekend everybody. |
so, like what kind of equipment eh?
|
I woke up on this side of the grass today so it's all good. Tomorrow I'm assisting in the repair of an oil leak (please god don't let it be a big one$$$)on the 560 SL and then it's off to see Bruno.....have a good one you guys. Ramonajim and MGburg thoughts and prayers are with you all.
